Tutorials Tips & Tricks About LCC

Last Updated 240707

Layout Command Control, or LCC, is a standardized, dedicated network and layout command bus for the "physical plant" of a model railroad.

LCC does not replace DCC, it creates a Layout Command Bus to take communication traffic off the DCC Command Bus.  LCC and DCC work together to improve the ability to control all aspects of a model railroad.

DCC controls the mobile equipment like locomotive and cars, LCC controls the stationary equipment like signals, switches and blocks.
