The diode is used to make non-directional DC or DCC car and locomotive lighting circuits as well as in-rush current limiting circuits for sound decoder "keep-alive" capacitors. The component measures 0.08 diameter x .197 long making it ideal for use with all scales including N scale. The diodes have been selected for use with Streamlined Backshop Services Lighting Kits and decoder installation services.
