TCS 2015 K0D8-F DCC Decoder - N Drop-in Board for Kato FP7 A-Units
 
 
The K0D8-F is a N-scale drop-in decoder designed specifically for the Kato FP7A locomotive.

Note: The K0D8 line of decoders are available with different lighting configurations. Pay special attention to the compatibility. The K0D8-F features 1 onboard super-bright, "Sunny White" LED with long leads in the forward direction with a special bend. This bend properly aligns the LED with the light tube for the forward lights and number boards.

It has 8 functions with built-in onboard resistors for LED's, 1 onboard superbright, Sunny White LED with medium length leads. Note: Four of the functions (F1-F4) have onboard resistors for LED's and 1.5v bulbs. The remaining two hardwire functions (F5-F6) output at 12v and will need external resistors if you plan to use LED's or 1.5v bulbs.

  • Function Remapping: Buttons 0 through 12 may be used to control the lighting functions of this decoder.
  • Programmable Lighting Effects: Choose from 20 separate user-programmable lighting effects!
  • Dimmable Brightness: Configure multiple different brightness levels for your LED's or incandescent bulbs.
  • Decoder Lock: Feature which prevents accidental/unwanted programming while activated.
  • Airwire™ Compatible: Fully compatible with Airwire™ operation.
  • User-Loadable Speed Tables: Configure custom speed curves and set speed limits.
